Bracknell Forest Health Improvement Programme

Let’s connect for Children’s Mental Health Week

This week marks Children’s Mental Health Week and Bracknell Forest Council is encouraging residents with children to embrace this year’s theme of ‘Let’s Connect’ and take part in the public health team’s photo competition.

The council is asking families living in Bracknell Forest to share a photo of how they are making healthy and rewarding connections, whether that be through exercise, hobbies, volunteering, or whatever they find fun! The winning entry will be chosen by the public health team and will receive a family pass to Coral Reef Waterworld for their efforts.

To help inspire entrants, the My Community online map has a new children’s section where families can find fun things to do locally.

Entries must be sent to: public.health@bracknell-forest.gov.uk with a short description by Monday, 13 February 2023. By entering the competition, residents will be accepting the terms and conditions of the competition.

If you are worried about your child’s mental health, visit the council’s public health portal for advice.
